Elissa Babb (formerly Elissa Edwards)

Elissa attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. and received a full dance scholarship to Point Park Conservatory. She has won scholarships to the EDGE in Los Angeles and has been invited to perform for Stiletto Entertainment and Anheiser Busch theme parks. Elissa judges for several national competitions and teaches master classes throughout the country. Elissa's unique and innovative choreography has won her many choreography and top teacher awards. She continues her education by attending classes in L.A. and New York in order to provide the best and most current dance instruction possible. Elissa has a fresh and innovative approach to dance which enables her to instill in her students a special passion for the art.

Christy Godwin

Christy Godwin runs Wilmington Xtreme and G-Force Dancers, two hip hop companies based out of our studio. Christy has been teaching tap, jazz, hip hop and kid's creative movement in Wilmington since 1996. She has performed on cruise lines with Kennedy Entertainment as well as theatre performances with Opera House Theatre Company. Some of you may remember her as the area's "Miss Wilmington." Miss Christy prides herself on offering a fun yet educational dance experience and is excited to join the staff here at Factor E!

Jenna Blackburn

Jenna Blackburn has been dancing competitively since the age of 5. Throughout her competitive career she won several scholarships to places such as LA and New York City. Jenna has studied at Broadway Dance Center and Steps, as well as attending NYCDA's summer intensive program and Adrenaline's summer intensive in Dallas, Texas. She currently attends UNCW while teaching dance at Factor E!

Melissa Derham

Melissa has been dancing her entire life. She began at the Joan Butler Institute of Dance, where she studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She began teaching for Terpiscore after she graduated high school. There, Melissa taught ages 5 through adult in various disciplines. She still enjoys teaching all ages and is excited to be Factor E's newest teacher! She is very focused on emphasizing and building each dancers technique but at the same time keeping it enjoyable and fun.

Kate Supplee

Kate Supplee is a member of our Company and is an assistant teacher at Factor E. She has won several "top soloist" awards and has received numerous scholarships to national conventions and workshops. Kate specializes in tap and lyrical.
Kate has recently been asked to tour with the Adrenaline Dance Convention as a Staff Assistant.

Michaela Basilio

Michaela Basilio is a frequent guest instructor and choreographer at Factor E. Michaela has long been recognized as one of the best tappers in the area. She has been invited to perform with Danny Wallace and Mike Minery and is presently a member of the touring show, "TAP kids". Michaela has been accepted to and will attend Parsons University in New York while continuing her exciting tap career.
